Have you ever listened to the "Weird Studies" podcast? Terrific show, sounds like you'd enjoy if not already listening. They have an occasional series on the Tarot, where they spend one 90-minute or so episode just unpacking a single card.
When I first started studying the tarot, my teacher had me study and live out the archetype of each Major Arcana for a week. We'd read Jung & the Tarot along with my studies and reflection. I took it upon myself to draw each card. It's still the deck I have on my altar to this day, more than 25 years later. Every Monday I take a card for the week and observe how that archetype shows up in my life. It's been my companion all of these years.
There are many ways of knowing. This is a mindset I have come to embrace…..having read “Braiding Sweetgrass” (at the beginning of the pandemic as a balm for my soul), the “Celestine Prophecy” (years ago—amazed at the coincidence among different religions/philosophies), doing Tarot, now studying the Bible, observing nature….why limit your ways of knowing….there is no “one way.”
